New original electrical insert for the Fiat Dino ignition switch. With contact 16 for the fuel pump. Wear on the contacts in this electrical insert is one of the most common reasons for starter failure, alongside the solenoid switch, wiring, and battery. These inserts are now difficult to find but ensure that the ignition switch can reliably perform its function again. However, it is still advisable to convert to a relay circuit so that not all the current for the solenoid switch flows through the ignition switch, but only the control current for the relay.
