Overhaul of the Fiat Dino 2400 heater valve. One problem that can occur with this heater valve is hardening of the diaphragm - which is not surprising after about 50 years. This can cause the heater valve to stick, so that even when the lever is operated, the heater remains cold or runs at "full blast."
During the overhaul, the heater valve is cleaned, opened (for which the rivets are drilled out), and the diaphragm is replaced with a new part. The housing is then closed with screws and checked for correct function and tightness.
