Steering Wheel / Wooden Steering Wheel for Fiat Dino 2400, restored wooden rim. Steering wheels for the Dino 2400 have a wider, stepped plastic rim and a recessed hub. On this steering wheel, the wooden rim was stripped of old lacquer, defects were repaired, and cracks were filled. My wood specialist uses a special technique for this, which ensures that the cracks do not reappear later and that the steering wheel is dimensionally stable, i.e., perfectly round.
