For sale is an absolute rarity for collectors and drivers of classic Italian vintage cars: An original C.G.S. DAE 171 electronic capacitor discharge ignition system (Scarica Capacitiva) from the 1970s/1980s. This is an unused New Old Stock (NOS) complete set in its original packaging!
The system is the perfect period-correct tuning upgrade for sporty classics from Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia or Abarth (2, 4 or 6 cylinders).

Unlike untested barn finds, the control unit and the corresponding Klitz coil were thoroughly tested in a Fiat Dino (Sept 30, 2026). The system works 100% flawlessly; the engine ran perfectly with it. A video of the successful test run is attached here.

The system also fits directly—plug & play—into Fiat Dinos intended for the small Dinoplex AEC103, with the studs and connectors matching perfectly.
