Which Dino driver doesn't know this: when you need them, the windshield wipers, they either don't work at all or slowly jerk piece by piece across the windshield, while you try to see the road through the rain....one of the main causes for this is a dirty, gummed up & stiff mechanism - which is no surprise, as Dinos are mostly driven in good weather.
During the overhaul, the mechanism is completely disassembled, cleaned, new parts are installed where necessary, and then carefully reassembled with all bushings, shims, wavy washers, etc., and greased.
